What's included: A dedicated yearly appointment where your dentist checks the implant, the gum cuff around it and the restoration on top.
Why it matters: Implants fail quietly. A yearly review is the one appointment designed to spot early inflammation, a loosening component or a change in your bite before any of it becomes painful or expensive.
What's included: Cleaning carried out with implant-specific instruments and technique, around both the crown and the gum collar that seals it.
Why it matters: Ordinary steel scalers scratch titanium and abutment surfaces, and a scratched surface collects more plaque. Implant-safe cleaning removes the bacteria that cause peri-implantitis without damaging the implant itself.
What's included: Radiographs taken at review and compared year on year to measure the bone height around every implant.
Why it matters: Bone is what holds an implant in place, and losing it causes no symptoms until late. The x-ray is the only way to see it happening — caught early, bone loss can usually be halted; caught late, the implant can be lost.
What's included: Checks on screw torque, how the crown or bridge seats, contact points with neighbouring teeth and how your bite has settled.
Why it matters: Every implant carries chewing force all day. A slightly loose screw or a heavy bite contact overloads the implant and eventually fractures components — small adjustments at review prevent that entirely.
What's included: For All-on-4 and similar work, the bridge is unscrewed where needed and the fitting surface underneath is cleaned professionally, then re-fitted.
Why it matters: You can't clean underneath a fixed full-arch bridge at home, and that surface is where debris and bacteria gather. This is planned routine care for the design, not a sign anything has gone wrong.
What's included: A standing discount on general dentistry outside the plan — fillings, extractions, additional work and more.
Why it matters: Your remaining natural teeth affect the implants. Keeping the rest of the mouth healthy and the bite balanced protects your implant work, and the discount removes the reason to delay treatment.
