The plan, treatment and payment terms in plain English. These answers summarise our plan terms and conditions — your plan confirmation and the current brochure set out exactly what is included. Read the full terms & conditions.
How do the payments work?+
Your plan fee is collected monthly by Direct Debit through GoCardless. Your membership starts when your first payment is received, and your bank details are held securely by GoCardless rather than by the practice.
Can I change my mind after joining?+
Yes. You can cancel within 14 days of joining for a full refund, for any reason and with no questions asked. After that, the cancellation terms below apply.
How long am I committing for?+
Every plan has a minimum term of 12 months from your start date. After the first 12 months your plan simply continues month to month until you end it.
When can I have my first treatment visit?+
Your first scheduled visit under the plan — exam, hygiene, composite polish or implant review, depending on your plan — becomes available once you have made six monthly payments, which is half of your minimum term. The free 3D iTero scan is the exception: that is yours from the day you join.
What happens if I end my plan early?+
After the 14-day cooling-off period you can end your plan with 30 days' written notice, but if you leave before completing the 12-month minimum term the remaining balance of that term becomes payable straight away. If you have had discounted treatment under the plan and it ends within 12 months of that treatment, the value of the discount also becomes payable.
Does cancelling my Direct Debit end the plan?+
No. Cancelling the Direct Debit with your bank does not end your agreement with the practice on its own — please give us notice in writing. Otherwise we may still invoice you directly for any balance owed.
Is there a discount for families?+
Yes. When two or more family members join together we take 5% off the combined monthly total, or 10% for three or more. If someone joins or leaves, the discount is recalculated for the remaining members.
What if a payment fails?+
We will let you know and try to collect it again. If a payment stays unpaid for more than 30 days we may pause your plan benefits, and we reserve the right to end the plan.
Do unused visits roll over?+
No. It is up to you to book and attend your visits within the windows set out for your plan. Visits you do not use in your 12-month term cannot be carried over, refunded or used the following year, and missing one does not reduce your monthly payment.
Can the price or the plan change?+
We can increase plan pricing with three months' written notice, and any treatment already started before an increase is completed at the original price. For changes to the core benefits of your plan we will give you at least 30 days' notice.
Can I use my plan at another practice, or pass it to someone else?+
No. The agreement is between you and the practice, covers treatment at our practices only, and is not transferable to another person.
Who do I speak to with a question or a complaint?+
Speak to reception or your treatment coordinator at either practice. If you are unhappy with any part of your plan or care, our complaints procedure is on our main website.
